2011-08-11bna: Move the Brocade driverJeff Kirsher
Moves the Brocade driver into drivers/net/ethernet/brocade/ and make the necessary Kconfig and Makefile changes. CC: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> CC: Debashis Dutt <ddutt@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2011-08-03bna: Remove get_regs Ethtool SupportRasesh Mody
Change details: - This patch contains removal of get_regs support in bnad_ethtool.c. Thus BNA will have minimal register definitions necessary for MBOX and interrupt operations Signed-off-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2011-07-22bna: CheckPatch CleanupRasesh Mody
Change details: - Driver cleanup as per new checkpatch v0.31 Signed-off-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2011-04-29ethtool: cosmetic: Use ethtool ethtool_cmd_speed APIDavid Decotigny
This updates the network drivers so that they don't access the ethtool_cmd::speed field directly, but use ethtool_cmd_speed() instead. For most of the drivers, these changes are purely cosmetic and don't fix any problem, such as for those 1GbE/10GbE drivers that indirectly call their own ethtool get_settings()/mii_ethtool_gset(). The changes are meant to enforce code consistency and provide robustness with future larger throughputs, at the expense of a few CPU cycles for each ethtool operation. All drivers compiled with make allyesconfig ion x86_64 have been updated. Tested: make allyesconfig on x86_64 + e1000e/bnx2x work Signed-off-by: David Decotigny <decot@google.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2011-04-29ethtool: Use full 32 bit speed range in ethtool's set_settingsDavid Decotigny
This makes sure the ethtool's set_settings() callback of network drivers don't ignore the 16 most significant bits when ethtool calls their set_settings(). All drivers compiled with make allyesconfig on x86_64 have been updated. Signed-off-by: David Decotigny <decot@google.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2011-01-12bna: Remove unnecessary memset(,0,)Joe Perches
kzalloc'd memory doesn't need a memset to 0. Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Acked-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2010-12-25bna: Fix for TX queueRasesh Mody
Change Details: - Call netif_wake_queue() if we have freed up sufficient elements at the end of completion processing - Add netif_queue_stopped counter back to bnad_drv_stats {} - Get netif_queue_stopped value from stack - Remove BUG_ON() on value returned by pci_unmap_addr() Signed-off-by: Debashis Dutt <ddutt@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2010-12-25bna: Fix ethtool register dump and reordered an APIRasesh Mody
Change Details: - Removed semaphore register dump from ethtool - Moved netif_carrier_off() call to before calling bna_init() Signed-off-by: Debashis Dutt <ddutt@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2010-09-02bna: fix stats handlingEric Dumazet
get_stats() method incorrectly clears a global array before folding various stats. This can break SNMP applications. Switch to 64 bit flavor to work on a user supplied buffer, and provide 64bit counters even on 32bit arches. Fix a bug in bnad_netdev_hwstats_fill(), for rx_fifo_errors, missing a folding (only the last counter was taken into account) Signed-off-by: Eric Dumazet <eric.dumazet@gmail.com> Acked-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2010-08-25bna: Fixed build break for allyesconfigRasesh Mody
This is the patch to fix the build break caused by multiple definitions of symbols between Brocade's FC/FCOE driver(BFA) and 10G Networking Driver(BNA). Changes are: 1. locally used functions are made static 2. unused functions are removed 3. using unique namespaces for the function names that must be globally visible Signed-off-by: Debashis Dutt <ddutt@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: Rasesh Mody <rmody@brocade.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2010-08-23bna: Delete get_flags and set_flags ethtool methods.David S. Miller
This driver doesn't support LRO, NTUPLE, or the RXHASH features. So it should not set these ethtool operations. This also fixes the warning: drivers/net/bna/bnad_ethtool.c:1272: warning: initialization from incompatible pointer type Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
