From f9e3e09fdc93be9f0d47afbc6c7df1188c2a5a0d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Bram Moolenaar Date: Sun, 13 Jan 2019 23:38:42 +0100 Subject: patch 8.1.0743: giving error messages is not flexible Problem: Giving error messages is not flexible. Solution: Add semsg(). Change argument from "char_u *" to "char *", also for msg() and get rid of most MSG macros. (Ozaki Kiichi, closes #3302) Also make emsg() accept a "char *" argument. Get rid of an enormous number of type casts. --- src/crypt.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src/crypt.c') diff --git a/src/crypt.c b/src/crypt.c index dfbf02ca5f..599607078a 100644 --- a/src/crypt.c +++ b/src/crypt.c @@ -162,7 +162,7 @@ crypt_method_nr_from_magic(char *ptr, int len) i = (int)STRLEN(crypt_magic_head); if (len >= i && memcmp(ptr, crypt_magic_head, i) == 0) - EMSG(_("E821: File is encrypted with unknown method")); + emsg(_("E821: File is encrypted with unknown method")); return -1; } -- cgit v1.2.3
