Rename x86-32 assembly files from .s to .S. While processing the .S file
gcc will use the pre-processor whic will evaluate macros and ifdef. This
is turn will be used to enable the endbr32 opcode based on the __CET__
define.

So far, the MSBLOB and PVK writers could only handle EVP_PKEYs with
legacy internal keys.
Specially to be able to compile the loader_attic engine, we use the C
macro OPENSSL_NO_PROVIDER_CODE to avoid building the provider specific
things when we don't need them. The alternative is to suck half of
crypto/evp/ into loader_attic, and that's just not feasible.

The following internal functions are affected:
ossl_do_blob_header
ossl_do_PVK_header
ossl_b2i
ossl_b2i_bio
This is reflected by moving include/internal/pem.h to include/crypto/pem.h
engines/e_loader_attic gets the source code added to it to have
continued access to those functions.

From this point on, this engine must be specifically specified.
To replace the internal EMBEDDED hack with something unique for the
new module, functions to create application specific OSSL_STORE_INFO
types were added.
Furthermore, the following function had to be exported:
ossl_do_blob_header()
ossl_do_PVK_header()
asn1_d2i_read_bio()
Finally, evp_pkcs82pkey_int() has become public under a new name,
EVP_PKCS82PKEY_with_libctx()

SHARED_SOURCE is reserved for products that are expected to come in
dual shared / non-shared form, i.e. the routine libraries like
libcrypto and libssl, to distinguish source that should only appear in
their shared form.
Modules are always shared, so there's no need for them to have this
type of distinction.

The "hw" and "hw-.*" style options are historical artifacts, sprung
from the time when ENGINE was first designed, with hardware crypto
accelerators and HSMs in mind.
Today, these options have largely lost their value, replaced by
options such as "no-{foo}eng" and "no-engine".
This completes the transition by making "hw" and "hw-.*" deprecated,
but automatically translated into more modern variants of the same.
In the process, we get rid of the last regular expression in
Configure's @disablables, a feature that was ill supported anyway.
Also, padlock now gets treated just as every other engine.

The only thing that makes an ENGINE module special is its entry
points. Other than that, it's a normal dynamically loadable module,
nothing special about it. This change has us stop pretending anything
else.
We retain using ENGINE as a term for installation, because it's
related to a specific installation directory, and we therefore also
mark ENGINE modules specifically as such with an attribute in the
build.info files.

The make variables LIB_CFLAGS, DSO_CFLAGS and so on were used in
addition to CFLAGS and so on. This works without problem on Unix and
Windows, where options with different purposes (such as -D and -I) can
appear anywhere on the command line and get accumulated as they come.
This is not necessarely so on VMS. For example, macros must all be
collected and given through one /DEFINE, and the same goes for
inclusion directories (/INCLUDE).
So, to harmonize all platforms, we repurpose make variables starting
with LIB_, DSO_ and BIN_ to be all encompassing variables that
collects the corresponding values from CFLAGS, CPPFLAGS, DEFINES,
INCLUDES and so on together with possible config target values
specific for libraries DSOs and programs, and use them instead of the
general ones everywhere.
This will, for example, allow VMS to use the exact same generators for
generated files that go through cpp as all other platforms, something
that has been impossible to do safely before now.

C preprocessor flags get separated from C flags, which has the
advantage that we don't get loads of macro definitions and inclusion
directory specs when linking shared libraries, DSOs and programs.
This is a step to add support for "make variables" when configuring.

Until now, the engines in engines/ were only built as dynamicaly
loadable ones if shared libraries were built.
We not dissociate the two and can build dynamicaly loadable engines
even if we only build static libcrypto and libssl. This is controlled
with the option (enable|disable|no)-static-engine, defaulting to
no-static-engine.
Note that the engines in crypto/engine/ (dynamic and cryptodev) will
always be built into libcrypto.

The engine DSOs were named as if they were shared libraries, and could
end up having all sorts of fancy names:
Cygwin: cygFOO.dll
Mingw: FOOeay32.dll
Unix: libFOO.so / libFOO.sl / libFOO.dylib / ...
This may be confusing, since they look like libraries one should link
with at link time, when they're just DSOs.
It's therefore time to rename them, and do it consistently on all
platforms:
Cygwin & Mingw: FOO.dll
Unix: FOO.{so,sl,dylib,...}
Interestingly enough, the MSVC and VMS builds always did it this way.

It seems that on some platforms, the perlasm scripts call the C
compiler for certain checks. These scripts need the environment
variable CC to have the C compiler command.

In build.info files, make the include directory in the build directory
absolute, or Configure will think it should be added to the source
directory top. Configure will turn it into a relative path if
possible.
