2018-09-20crypto/ui/ui_openssl.c: make sure to recognise ENXIO and EIO tooRichard Levitte
These both indicate that the file descriptor we're trying to use as a terminal isn't, in fact, a terminal. 2016-12-10VMS UI_OpenSSL: if the TT device isn't a tty, flag instead of errorRichard Levitte
On all platforms, if the controlling tty isn't an actual tty, this is flagged by setting is_a_tty to zero... except on VMS, where this was treated as an error. 2015-05-23Fix the update target and remove duplicate file updatesRichard Levitte
We had updates of certain header files in both Makefile.org and the Makefile in the directory the header file lived in. This is error prone and also sometimes generates slightly different results (usually just a comment that differs) depending on which way the update was done. This removes the file update targets from the top level Makefile, adds an update: target in all Makefiles and has it depend on the depend: or local_depend: targets, whichever is appropriate, so we don't get a double run through the whole file tree. 2015-02-22Assume TERMIOS is default, remove TERMIO on all Linux.Richard Levitte
The rationale for this move is that TERMIOS is default, supported by POSIX-1.2001, and most definitely on Linux. For a few other systems, TERMIO may still be the termnial interface of preference, so we keep -DTERMIO on those in Configure. crypto/ui/ui_openssl.c is simplified in this regard, and will define TERMIOS for all systems except a select few exceptions. 2004-04-19make updateGeoff Thorpe
2004-04-19Reduce header interdependencies, initially in engine.h (the rest of theGeoff Thorpe
changes are the fallout). As this could break source code that doesn't directly include headers for interfaces it uses, changes to recursive includes are covered by the OPENSSL_NO_DEPRECATED symbol. It's better to define this when building and using openssl, and then adapt code where necessary - this is how to stay current. However the mechanism exists for the lethargic.
