2020-12-20Drop OPENSSL_NO_RSA everywhereRichard Levitte
The configuration option 'no-rsa' was dropped with OpenSSL 1.1.0, so this is simply a cleanup of the remains. Reviewed-by: Tomas Mraz <tmraz@fedoraproject.org> (Merged from https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/13700)
2020-11-13CRYPTO: refactor ERR_raise()+ERR_add_error_data() to ERR_raise_data()Richard Levitte
This is not done absolutely everywhere, as there are places where the use of ERR_add_error_data() is quite complex, but at least the simple cases are done. Reviewed-by: Paul Dale <paul.dale@oracle.com> (Merged from https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/13318)
2020-11-13Convert all {NAME}err() in crypto/ to their corresponding ERR_raise() callRichard Levitte
This includes error reporting for libcrypto sub-libraries in surprising places. This was done using util/err-to-raise Reviewed-by: Paul Dale <paul.dale@oracle.com> (Merged from https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/13318)

2019-09-28Reorganize local header filesDr. Matthias St. Pierre
Apart from public and internal header files, there is a third type called local header files, which are located next to source files in the source directory. Currently, they have different suffixes like '*_lcl.h', '*_local.h', or '*_int.h' This commit changes the different suffixes to '*_local.h' uniformly. 2004-04-19(oops) Apologies all, that last header-cleanup commit was from the wrongGeoff Thorpe
tree. This further reduces header interdependencies, and makes some associated cleanups.
2003-11-29We're getting a clash with C++ because it has a type called 'list'.Richard Levitte
Therefore, change all instances of the symbol 'list' to something else. PR: 758 Submitted by: Frédéric Giudicelli <groups@newpki.org>
2003-03-13Fix a bone-head bug. This warrants a CHANGES entry because it could affectGeoff Thorpe
applications if they were passing a bogus 'flags' parameter yet having things work as they wanted anyway.

2001-09-25This change adds cipher and digest support into ENGINE using theGeoff Thorpe
ENGING_TABLE mechanism. The necessary hooks from crypto/evp/ to use this will be committed shortly.
2001-09-25This change replaces the ENGINE's underlying mechanics with the newGeoff Thorpe
ENGINE_TABLE-based stuff - as described in crypto/engine/README. Associated miscellaneous changes; - the previous cipher/digest hooks that hardwired directly to EVP's OBJ_NAME-based storage have been backed out. New cipher/digest support has been constructed and will be committed shortly. - each implementation defines its own ENGINE_load_<name> function now. - the "openssl" ENGINE isn't needed or loaded any more. - core (not algorithm or class specific) ENGINE code has been split into multiple files to increase readability and decrease linker bloat. - ENGINE_cpy() has been removed as it wasn't really a good idea in the first place and now, because of registration issues, can't be meaningfully defined any more. - BN_MOD_EXP[_CRT] support is removed as per the README. - a bug in enginetest.c has been fixed. NB: This commit almost certainly breaks compilation until subsequent changes are committed.
