2010-10-25ARM: S3C: Change VMALLOC_END to use more vmalloc()/ioremap() areaKukjin Kim
This patch changes VMALLOC_END from 0xE0000000 to 0xF6000000, because some systems want to use more vmalloc()/ioremap() area and now don't use from at 0xE0000000 to 0xF6000000 (the start of Samsung SoCs' VA space) Cc: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2010-10-20arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruartJeremy Kerr
Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then select the appropriate address to use. This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU state that we're not current in. Updated with fixes for OMAP from Jason Wang <jason77.wang@gmail.com> and Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>, and fix for versatile express from Lorenzo Pieralisi <lorenzo.pieralisi@arm.com>. 2010-02-24ARM: SAMSUNG: Move include/mach files out of plat-s3cBen Dooks
Move the include/mach files out of plat-s3c and into the relevant machine files. This does mean copying the files, but there is nowhere else to put them. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2010-02-15ARM: 5928/1: Change type of VMALLOC_END to unsigned long.Fenkart/Bostandzhyan
Makes it consistent with VMALLOC_START Tested-by: H Hartley Sweeten <hsweeten@visionengravers.com> Signed-off-by: Andreas Fenkart <andreas.fenkart@streamunlimited.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-02-12ARM: 5910/1: ARM: Add tmp register for addruart and loadspTony Lindgren
Otherwise more complicated uart configuration won't be possible. We can use r1 for tmp register for both head.S and debug.S. NOTE: This patch depends on another patch to add the the tmp register into all debug-macro.S files. That can be done with: $ sed -i -e "s/addruart,rx|addruart, rx/addruart, rx, tmp/" arch/arm/*/include/*/debug-macro.S Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-13ARM: fix clps711x, footbridge, integrator, ixp2000, ixp2300 and s3c build bugRussell King
Anders Grafström reports that footbridge fails to build after 1c4a4f4. Fix this by adding the necessary definitions for __pfn_to_bus and __bus_to_pfn. Reported-by: Anders Grafström <anders.grafstrom@netinsight.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Update Simtec copyright statements from , to - [2]Ben Dooks
There are a number of statements of the form A, B or A, B, C where the numbers A,B,C are not consecutive. However, referencing [1] it is the correct thing to replace these with A-B or A-C as apropriate. 2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Update Simtec copyright statements from , to -Ben Dooks
There are a number of statements of the form A, B or A, B, C where the numbers A,B,C are consecutive. Tidy these up to be A-B or A-C as appropriate and to comply better with copyright standards [1] [1] http://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/p03_copyright_notices section 4iii 'Year of publication' Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben@simtec.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Simtec Linux Team <linux@simtec.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2009-07-31ARM: S3C: move s3c_device_nand from plat-s3c24xx to plat-s3cPeter Korsgaard
Move the s3c_device_nand platform device from plat-s3c24xx to plat-s3c, now that the nand driver also support the s3c64xx devices. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk> Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2009-03-08[ARM] S3C: Make IRQ_EINT sleep control commonBen Dooks
Move the IRQ_EINT sleep control to be available to all s3c impelmentations. Since s3c_irqext_wake is not large, place it in arch/arm/plat-s3c/pm.c as adding it to a new file would be a waste of compile time. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-18[ARM] S3C24A0: Remove duplicate <mach/io.h> fileBen Dooks
The commit 39263db7986bf15c753f6847699107bdf5a2e318 added a default <mach/io.h> implementation which is shared if needed between all the s3c implementations. Remove the s3c24a0 version which is the same as this. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C: Make i2c device definition common to plat-s3cBen Dooks
Make the device i2c0 common to plat-s3c and move the definitions from arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx/devs.c Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C6400: serial support for S3C6400 and S3C6410 SoCsBen Dooks
Add support to the Samsung serial driver for the S3C6400 and S3C6410 serial ports. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C24XX: Split timer pending code outBen Dooks
Split the timer pending code out to a seperate per-machine header so that when compiling for mach-s3c2410 or mach-s3c24a0 we can use the right timer code without having to #ifdef the timer driver. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C24A0: Initial architecture support filesBen Dooks
Initial architecture support for the S3C24A0 ARCH_S3C24A0. We don't yet add an kconfig entry in the main arch/arm/Kconfig file as the series is not complete, so that is left until enough support is in to be useful. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C24XX: Split map.h into plat-s3c24xx and mach-s3c2410Ben Dooks
Split the map.h definitions into common S3C24XX code by adding arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx/include/plat/map.h and altering the machine specific header for the S3C24A0. As we add a new <plat/map.h> we move the original one in arch/arm/plat-s3c include directory to be called map-base.h to distinguish the two files. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C24A0: Debug macro definitionsBen Dooks
Add the necessary debug macros for the S3C24A0 to enable kernel debugging, and fix a bug with selecting the wrong default debug implementation from the base include. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-12-15[ARM] S3C24A0: arch/arm/mach-s3c24a0/include/mach header filesSandeep Patil
Add initial arch/arm/mach-s3c24a0/include/mach header files for supporting Samsung S3C24A0 SoC. Signed-off-by: Sandeep Patil <sandeep.patil@azingo.com> Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
