The examples template is a 'simple-bus' with a size of 1 cell for
had between 2 and 4 cells which really only errors on I2C or SPI type
devices with a single cell.
The easiest fix in most cases is to change the 'reg' property to for 1 cell
address and size. In some cases with child devices having 2 cells, that
doesn't make sense so a bus node is needed.

json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that
any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct
form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed
in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other
keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the
tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works.
This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this
treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax.
Scripted with ruamel.yaml with some manual fixups. Some minor whitespace
changes from the script.

Setting 'additionalProperties: false' is frequently omitted, but is
important in order to check that there aren't extra undocumented
properties in a binding.
Ideally, we'd just add this automatically and make this the default, but
there's some cases where it doesn't work. For example, if a common
schema is referenced, then properties in the common schema aren't part
of what's considered for 'additionalProperties'. Also, sometimes there
are bus specific properties such as 'spi-max-frequency' that go into
bus child nodes, but aren't defined in the child node's schema.
So let's stick with the json-schema defined default and add
'additionalProperties: false' where needed. This will be a continual
review comment and game of wack-a-mole.

This fixes some problems that caused build errors in the
lgm-io schema file:
- No "bindings" infix in the schema id
- Move the allOf inclusion for pinconf and pinmux nodes into
the patternProperties for the -pins node
- We want "groups" not "group" to be compulsory for a pinmux
node blended with a pin config node.
- Fix the generic pinmux-schema to list "groups" rather than
"group" for a pinmux node, this might have led to some confusion.
This is a first user of the generic schema so a bit of a bumpy
road.

for LGM to use these newly added schemas. Also, rename filename to match
the compatible string.

The pinctrl node sits under a syscon device, and can assume offsets from
the base of the syscon based on the compatible. However, for devicetree
correctness allow a reg property to be specified, which an associated
driver may choose to use to discover associated resources.

functions (for i2c and uart) share the same pin. This allows users

As pinctrl bindings have a flexible structure and no standard child node
naming convention, creating a single pinctrl schema doesn't work. Instead,
create schemas for the pin mux and config nodes which device pinctrl schema
can reference.

Rename SD3 functions and groups to EMMC to better reflect their intended
use before the binding escapes too far into the wild. Also clean up the
SD3 pin groups to eliminate some silliness that slipped through the
cracks (SD3DAT[4-7]) by unifying them into three new groups: EMMCG1,
EMMCG4 and EMMCG8 for 1, 4 and 8-bit data buses respectively.
